Our Reformer Pilates studio overlooks Talalla Beach, offering a calm, focused space to move with the rhythm of the ocean. One of the first Reformer studios in Sri Lanka.
Daily classes are open to all levels, using high-quality equipment. Sessions focus on strength, stability, mobility, and balance.
Reformer Pilates is also part of our Renew Retreat, which brings together Reformer & Mat Pilates, and yoga for a balanced, integrated movement experience.

WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES?
In a Reformer Pilates class, you’ll use a specialised machine called a Reformer, which uses springs, pulleys, and a moving carriage to add resistance to your movements. Classes are low-impact but highly effective – designed to build core strength, improve posture, increase flexibility, and support overall body alignment.
Expect slow, controlled exercises that challenge stability and balance, with a focus on precision and breath. You’ll be guided through a full-body workout that can be adapted to your individual level, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned mover.
Our classes are intentionally small to allow for personal attention and tailored support, so you can move confidently and safely throughout. Most people leave feeling stronger, longer, and more connected to their bodies.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAT & REFORMER PILATES?
Both mat and Reformer Pilates are based on the same core principles – control, alignment, breath, and precision – but they use different tools to challenge the body.
Mat Pilates is done on the floor using your body weight for resistance. It’s a great way to build core strength and body awareness, but it can be more demanding for beginners because there’s less support.
Reformer Pilates uses a spring-loaded machine to create resistance and assistance. The moving carriage, adjustable springs, and straps allow for a wider range of motion and more variety in exercises. It’s incredibly effective for strength, flexibility, and alignment – and the support from the machine often makes it more accessible, especially for beginners or those with injuries.
If you’ve done mat Pilates before, you’ll already be familiar with many of the foundational movements and principles, which can definitely help. That said, Reformer Pilates is its own experience – so be ready to discover new muscles, new challenges, and a fresh way to connect with your body.
DO I NEED PRIOR EXPERIENCE TO JOIN A CLASS?
Not at all! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, our classes are designed to be accessible to everyone. Our instructors will guide you through each move, so you’ll feel confident and supported no matter your experience level.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
You can find us on Google Maps! Our property is accessible by car/tuktuk/bike/by foot if you’re locally based.
If you’re coming from Hiriketiya then your journey will take appoximately 20 minutes by TukTuk (and probably less time by car or bike).
When you arrive, head straight to the front desk and our team will be happy to sign you in and point you in the right direction.
WHAT DO I BRING?
Just bring yourself and a bottle of water to stay hydrated—everything else is provided! We’ve got all the equipment you need to enjoy your session.
There are free water refill stations on the property. We also sell water in our restaurant if you forget.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Wear something lightweight and comfortable that allows you to move freely. Since Pilates can get a bit sweaty, choose clothes that make you feel comfortable and confident while you stretch, strengthen, and flow!
We don’t require you to wear Pilates socks – barefoot is fine with us.

OUR STUDIO
Our brand new Reformer studio opened in March 2025 and has stunning views over Talalla beach.
We have 10 state-of-the-art Reformer beds and all of the props needed to execute a well-rounded Reformer or Mat Pilates class.
MEET THE TEAM
POLLY
Polly comes from a gymnastics background which is how she found her love for movement and working with the body. After years of competitive gymnastics and performing she transitioned into the world of fitness, where she has worked in a variety of settings; from boutique studios to corporate clients. As well as a Pilates instructor Polly is also a yoga teacher, massage therapist and personal trainer, she likes to utilise all of these skills when planning sessions and working with her clients. She is always happy to share her expertise, to help deepen your personal practice, learn something new and leave feeling empowered.

TATYANA
Tatyana is originally from Bulgaria and has spent over a decade traveling and working internationally across Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.
With a strong foundation in bodywork and movement, she has taught Pilates — both Reformer and Mat — to a wide range of clients, from high-performance individuals to complete beginners. Her background includes years of experience in the luxury yachts and wellness & spa industry, where she developed her distinctive, mindful approach to teaching.
Blending physical precision with energetic awareness, Tatyana integrates Reiki and breathwork into her classes to create a holistic experience that restores balance, strength, and inner alignment.When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her swimming in the ocean, meditating under palm trees, or exploring the rhythm of island life in Sri Lanka.

paige
Paige transitioned from hospital-based physiotherapy to pursue her passion for movement as a reformer Pilates instructor. With a strong background in physiotherapy, she has a deep understanding of human anatomy and thoughtfully tailors each class to individual needs. When she’s not teaching on the reformer, you’ll find her surfing, relaxing on the beach, or exploring all that Sri Lanka has to offer.
