Sri Lanka is considered to be one of the most reliable surf destinations in the Indian Ocean offering high quality and consistent waves. Sri Lanka is a year round surf destination - according to the time of year both the east and west sides of the island catch a decent swell, but the best time is October to April.
The conditions cater to all standards of surfers and vary from beginner gentle beach breaks right up to kamikaze reef spots.
Talalla Retreat is located right in the middle of all of Sri Lanka's finest surf spots. Neutral Wind is a few minutes away, this is our local beach break catering for all range of surfers. Two of our favourite passions are surfing and yoga so we love to cater for groups who wish to come to engage in either or both of these pursuits.
